Follow my photo journey of a Saturday spent in Yokohama. The day starts with a wonderful surprise. After check-in, it’s off for a lite sushi lunch before we work off the calories ice skating. Then it’s on to Chinatown for a dim sum and Chinese food buffet. The evening ends with… well, you’re just going to have to view all of the photograph.
Started off with a surprise as I found out that I'd be staying at the beautiful Intercontinental Yokohama hotel.

I preferred the all-you-can-eat fresh tuna sashimi.

To get to Yokohama’s Minatomirai area, take the JR or Keikyu lines to Yokohama. When you exit your respective line, follow the signs to the Minatomirai train. It is two stops on the local line (one stop on the express) to Minatomirai. At the station, exit through the mall and simply enjoy your walk around Yokohama’s Minatomirai. Chinatown is a few stops from the Minatomirai stop but I’d recommend walking there or taking the boat.
