Travel Photographs of Osaka Castle

by in Asia

Hello! Here are pictures of Osaka Castle that I took Friday, May 14. I spent three days touring Osaka and Kyoto during my ship’s three-day port visit there. It was my first time in that part of Japan and I definitely enjoyed it.

Osaka Castle is Osaka’s most famous landmark. To read more about it, click here.

The back of the castle. That tiny person you see is me. Ha ha

A lovely view of the castle.

Due to not arriving at the castle until close to closing time, I was unable to go inside. But, that is why we travel… to see places again and again.

I just Love your size comparision to the Castle. When more of realize that we are basically ants to the Universe, I believe we will be better people.

      Thank you!
I don’t think we’ll ever be better no matter how small we realize we are. We’ve gone too far beyond what our purpose was meant to be.

WOW…okay, ‘for more click here’ should have had a WARNING:Educational Advisory.
I wasn’t quite ready for the beauty of the photos, let alone the history of the article. The panoramic view of the city and the Castle was just breathtaking. And the Tea Room, well let’s just say, I hadn’t seen that much gold since the Orchid Lounge in the 80′s.

    Great job,
    Mommy
